Profile: Are you seeking God or a deeper relationship with God? Is God a word or concept so significant that it feels frightening at times or as if you have no idea where to start? Perhaps you once professed faith, but it now feels foreign. Maybe you once had faith but lost it because of injury or another kind of abuse. You're not alone. Many people are looking to develop or re-establish that connection to God and don't know where to begin. Others have a relationship with God but have a pang of hunger or a thirst to go deeper into that relationship and have no idea where to begin. My name is Fr. Tyler Richards. I am an ordained Episcopal Priest. I approach Spiritual Companioning from a decidedly Christian perspective, focusing on Christ's call to all people. I am an LGBT+ affirming Christian Minister and believe that the love of God is extended to all persons. I also believe that part of our call is a vocation that God has given all of us, whether that is taking our place in the body of Christ as a layperson or as an ordained person. It is my hope that all people can find their way to God or develop a clearer picture of who God is. It is my happy duty to help facilitate that journey for people by walking with them as a companion.
