“The process of storytelling is itself a healing process… Your own story is a gateway to a new perception of your life.”
— Alice Walker
Every person carries a web of stories that shape their sense of self and of the sacred. Some stories quietly bind us; others liberate us. This two-part master class invites spiritual directors and companions to work skillfully at the threshold where story meets soul—helping those we accompany name, loosen, and re-imagine the narratives that define their lives. Using elements of two accessible resources, Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Theory, Scott will offer teachings, live demonstrations, and reflective dialogue to illuminate how working with our stories can become a pathway toward healing and awakening.
