Guiding Companions as They Navigate the Journeys of Ego, Soul, and Spirit
Spiritual growth unfolds across three interrelated journeys: the ego, the soul, and the Spirit.
Differentiating and understanding these dimensions provides a powerful framework for identifying and addressing the challenges clients bring to spiritual direction.
Each of these journeys has its own distinct patterns, obstacles, and pathways for growth. By deepening our understanding of this spiritual map, we can more clearly recognize where clients are struggling and offer practical steps to help them move toward a more expansive and life-giving spirituality. This framework also provides insight into our own obstacles and growth movements as their companions on the journey.
In this webinar, we will explore and discuss questions such as:
- What distinguishes the ego, soul, and Spirit journeys?
- What are examples of common obstacles and signs of movement along these journeys?
- How does working with these dimensions help clients widen, deepen, and heighten their personal and spiritual awareness?
- What are core practices that support growth at each level—for both our clients and ourselves?
The course will include teaching materials as well as large and small group discussions, offering participants practical tools and deeper insight into spiritually guiding clients with skill and wisdom.
