The most important instrument in spiritual companionship is your own presence. In this experiential session, Coke Tani explores embodied practice as an essential companioning skill—helping spiritual directors cultivate resilience, deepen attentive listening, regulate their own nervous systems, and accompany others from a place of grounded presence. Participants will leave with practical embodied practices they can use personally and, where appropriate, adapt for use with those they accompany.
