Profile: I have experienced firsthand how difficult life can be – health struggles, work stress, parenting, relationships, social unrest. It's easy to get lost in the mess of responsibilities and world events. We get reduced to what we do and what happens to us. I develop experiences for people to get back in touch with their whole selves, finding their identity and their purpose in the world. As a spiritual director, I offer a compassionate and imaginative space for exploring the Sacred, one that honors the wisdom within each person and the diversity of the human spirit. I have a strong affinity for mystical faith practices, as well as more than a decade of experience serving rural, urban, and suburban faith communities as an ELCA Pastor. I enjoy working with young adults and the young at heart to help people experience sacredness in their lives and within themselves. I do this through conversation, intuitive listening, silence, prayer, and ritual, but I also specialize in the unique modality of play. Play, for me, is a profound spiritual practice. As a longtime tabletop role-playing game facilitator (and Dungeon Master), I’ve witnessed how story, imagination, and creativity can unlock truth, healing, and connection. In spiritual direction, I often draw on these same dynamics of curiosity, wonder, and storytelling to invite new perspectives and pathways of encounter with God. Play helps us explore what words alone cannot, opening our sacred imaginations to a world of freedom and new possibilities. I am trained and experienced in interfaith relations and am committed to creating spaces that are queer-affirming and open to people of all faith traditions—and none. Whether you are rooted in a particular spiritual path or simply curious about where the Sacred might be found in your story, I welcome you to this journey of reflection, discernment, and joy. Reach out to schedule a free intro call. Sessions available in person (Burnsville, MN) and online. **Note: Currently in the DMin in Spiritual Direction program at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. All sessions are offered free of charge while I complete my practicum.**
