Profile: I became a certified spiritual director/companion through the Benet Hill Monastery. I'm an ordained United Methodist pastor who embraces Christian mysticism – or, I could be considered a mystic who happens to be a Christian. I "pray well with others" and play well in the spiritual sandbox. After 29 years serving in the UMC I retired in June 2025. I am the author of "Kissing Fish: Christianity For People Who Don't Like Christianity"; and "Discovering Fire: Spiritual Practices That Transform Lives." My main work is Being present to You to help you be present to Presence, helping us shed masks, and live into our authentic selves. I offer Spiritual Direction to a select number of clients each year. We meet for 60 minutes 1-2 times per month – either in person, or via technology such as Facetime; Zoom, Skype, Instant Messenger Video. Please let me know if you are interested in how I will help you experience the Divine and discern how Spirit/God is at work in your life – so that you will have the most meaningful and impactful life possible – leaving a legacy of love. We are living in challenging times and I am able to help people unite spiritual practice with social justice in a world that needs it.
