Profile: Nina is a theological mutt, with childhood roots in the Christian Reformed tradition but influences from charismatic, liturgical and contemplative streams. She has an MDiv. from Wycliffe College (U of Toronto), where she focused her studies on themes of Sabbath and ecology in the biblical narrative. She completed her spiritual direction training at the Phoenix Center for Spiritual Direction. Nina is a visual artist, gardener, wife and mother. She pastors a motley and creative Christ community in downtown Hamilton, Canada. Nina loves to learn ever-more deeply from her directees about the capaciousness of the hands that hold us and is happy to meet with people of all sexual orientations and genders, religious affiliation and backgrounds.
