Profile: Rooted in the rhythm of Pause – Reflect – Engage, I offer spiritual direction grounded in deep listening and compassionate presence, creating space to pause from the demands of life, reflect with honesty and courage, and engage more fully with what matters most. My approach draws on contemplative and creative traditions, and is deeply shaped by the subtle movements of the Spirit and the rhythms of everyday life. With a background in chaplaincy, coaching, and anthropological research, I accompany individuals seeking greater spiritual depth, integration, and clarity. My practice is informed by the PRE™ rhythm: Pause – making room for stillness, silence, and sacred interruption; Reflect – attending to the inner landscape with curiosity and care; Engage – stepping forward with renewed alignment, courage, and grace. I am a mother of four and an icon writer, shaped by the beauty of the sacred image and years of walking alongside others in their most vulnerable moments. For over two decades, I have worked in the justice arena, especially with refugees, asylum seekers, and those who support them. This has given me a deep respect for resilience, cultural complexity, and the dignity of every human story. I am also a Trustee of a dispersed Christian community called Contemplative Fire, which is acknowledged by the Church of England. I hold a PhD in the anthropology of emotion. My research explores how we live with paradox and complexity, and how our emotional lives shape—and are shaped by—the world around us. Having lived in several countries and speaking multiple languages, I bring a cross-cultural sensitivity and a welcoming presence to people of all faiths and none. I have a particular affinity with: - those serving in roles of care or advocacy, - professionals at a crossroads, - parents and caregivers, especially those navigating long-term care, - individuals living with questions of identity, transition, or loss. Sessions are available online or in person (in the Netherlands). Whether you are seeking to reorient your life, listen more deeply to your inner wisdom, or rest in the silence beneath the noise, I would be honoured to accompany you.
