Profile: Welcome! Are you looking for a place to take a deep look at your life? Do you live mostly outside the box, on your own path? Are you called to deepen your experience of Spirit, however you understand that? I would love to hear your story. The Spiritual Counseling I offer is a place to bring all of who you are. Together, we explore, heal and deepen your connection to Self and to Spirit, to expand into the life you want to live. Trained in interfaith spiritual direction, expressive therapies, core shamanism, and shamanic counseling, my work integrates these modes as they best serve my clients. Together, we find the way! Artists, mystics, visionaries and rebels, LGBTQ+ and 12-Step folx, women, elders and BIPOC are particularly welcome. I work on Zoom or in Portland, Maine, with sliding fees to be accessible to all. About me: I am a white, cis-gendered able-bodied woman from a mixed-race, middle-class family, raised by hippie artist Baha’i parents on the East Coast of the US. I am mother to two wild young adults, a cancer survivor and an occasional artist. I have always been with/in the queer community although for a time I lived and loved as a heterosexual housewife. I am a mystic, a heretic, an idealist, a socialist, a protector, an objector. I am a builder and a nurturer, a witness and a mourner. I believe in Love and the power of people gathered together for good. My joy is my work: to help others to be present and embrace all that is; to support healing to then deepen their connection to Self and to Spirit; and to create a life of purpose, joy, and meaning.
