Profile: My approach to the art of spiritual direction is framed by my belief that life is about walking each other home. I don't think of myself as a "director", but rather a "fellow traveler" here to hold space while you navigate unknown territory. Whether you are at a crossroads in your relationship with your Higher Power, with yourself, or whatever the current threshold place might be, spiritual direction is a safe place to explore the liminal and transitional. My hope is that through our time together, you might experience the gentle untangling of your soul as you softly come home to yourself. That is what my own journey with my own spiritual director felt like and it was what prompted me to become a companion myself.
I have a BA in psychology from UMKC and am trained in the contemplative-evocative form of Spiritual Direction through the Souljourner's program at the Sophia Spirituality Center. My practice is trauma-informed and includes somatic experiencing, guided meditation, dream work, parts work and the enneagram.
