Profile: I am an ordained minister and former religious studies professor, holding a Master's degree in theology earned while studying in the United Kingdom. I grew up in East Tennessee, and in 1997, I began a ten-year stint of missions, living in Japan, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. I interacted with Buddhism, Daoism, Shintoism, and Animism. I then returned to the USA, to Portland, OR, in the Spring of 2008 and led American and Taiwanese/Chinese churches. God has called me to specialize in working with family spiritual direction, young adults, and those who are going through intense trauma and pain, loss, and bereavement. I am called to work with those who may be suffering from spiritual trauma and addictions of various kinds via Zoom sessions if you are not local to the Vancouver, WA, area. While I carry a full client load, in-person sessions may be scheduled in advance. No matter your situation, I have complete confidentiality, understanding, and compassion. I take great care to walk my clients and directees through significant life transitions, helping them address a variety of spiritual issues such as trauma, addiction, spiritual emergence, and other major life changes. As a Spiritual Director, I offer and encourage positive life outcomes to those seeking direction and guidance in their lives coupled with a deep and tangible walk in loving faith in God. Zoom sessions run on a sliding scale, with donations starting at $90 per 1-hour session.
