Profile: Hello, I’m Beth Fancher. The practice of spiritual direction is a deep passion and love of mine! I am an empathetic and discerning listener and as a companion on the journey, my job as a spiritual director is to lean in and help the person across from me become aware of who they were made to be, as well as how to become attuned to the ways in which the divine is already moving in their midst. My passion is to see lives transformed by the presence of the divine and through a deep experience of being known and held. I love to see a wide variety of people in all walks of life and faith traditions. My areas of focus include: deconstruction and reconstruction of Christian faith, navigating life after separation/divorce, and relationship-based trauma. I also use the enneagram, poetry, meditation, and other centering practices as tools for self-discovery in spiritual direction. I am a single mama of 2 kids (13yrs and 11yrs) and divorced with a positive and amicable relationship with my ex-husband. I slowly but surely left Christianity a few years ago after 20 years in the faith and have returned to my roots of being a curious, open, lover of all people and spiritual things. I love to connect with my kids and friends, travel and laugh with my lovey partner, read and write poetry, and ask good questions. I trained at the School of Sustainable Faith from 2014-2018 and earned my certification as a spiritual director. I started my practice immediately following graduation and have been meeting with people ever since. All are welcome. Every single one. At this time I am offering spiritual direction remotely via Zoom or FaceTime, which allows for you to be in the comfort of your own space. It also allows me to meet with people from all over the world, which is a passion of mine. I typically take appointments on weekdays, with limited availability on evenings and weekends.
