Profile: I am a graduate of Souljourners, a spiritual formation and spiritual direction certification program at the Sophia Center at Mount Saint Scholastica. Souljourners trains its directors in the contemplative evocative tradition through its three-year program. I tend to connect with people navigating faith deconstruction, mid-life unraveling, women's issues, integrating the body and emotions, transitional struggles (new baby/job/marriage/divorce) and life in general. To me, spiritual direction and spiritual companioning is a way to experience compassionate, holy listening, which leads to the validation of one's feelings and lived experience. It provides an opportunity to access interior wisdom, along with space to learn to trust and love that wisdom. My direction comes from a trauma-informed and body-centered context.
