Profile: I’m an independent Catholic priest with the Independent Catholic Christian Church. www.inclusivecatholics.com. I’m the Pastor of the Oratory Of St. Faustina and a trained spiritual Director. I completed my training for Spiritual Direction at the Adelynrood School for Spiritual Direction in Byfield, Massachusets. I was raised Roman Catholic and spent several years in the Roman Catholic Seminary before discovering the Independent Sacramental Movement, a movement of clergy and laity who identify as Catholic but are not affiliated with the Roman, Anglican, or Orthodox Catholic churches. My Faith and Spiritual Life are deeply rooted in traditional Catholicism and the sacraments but with an openness to all God's Children. My ministry now revolves around sharing the richness of the Catholic tradition and God's Love and mercy with all, regardless of gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation, and in particular with those who have felt marginalized by the Church. In Spiritual Direction, I work with individuals from various Christian traditions, helping them grow closer to our loving God. I work with individuals from various backgrounds and on a long-term or short-term basis. Some people are looking for frequent meetings, once a month or more, and others, a few times a year or just once or twice. For me, spiritual Direction is seeing where God is active in all aspects of our lives and where the Holy Spirit is encouraging us to grow. Our Loving God is active in all aspects of our Lives every day, but God's presence can often be hard to see or feel in the moment, and it takes prayer and reflection to See God's love at work. I use Zoom for most of my spiritual direction sessions, including sessions with my own director, and I have found this platform to work well and allow more frequent spiritual direction than would be possible in person. I primarily use Zoom for spiritual direction sessions, but other arrangements can be made if you live locally. Professionally, I work as a paramedic and an EMS educator in northern Massachusetts. I live with my boyfriend in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Visit my Parish website for more information, or contact me. I would be happy to discuss the possibility of working together in a Spiritual direction.
