2026 New Contemplatives Scholarship

The New Contemplatives Initiative seeks to encourage, understand and engage with spiritual directors and companions in the first half of their lives (aged 40-ish or under) by offering scholarship for vocational support and development, and to enrich the SDI Community with their presence and energy.

This year, we are seeking spiritual directors and companions who are 40-ish and younger to apply for financial support to attend the 2026 Conference. We ask and hope selected applicants will participate in conference programming, and continue to be a part of the SDI Community after the conference.
