Joanie’s spiritual path is shaped by roots in Catholicism, mainline Christianity, Spiritualism, Theosophy, and New Thought. A Prayer Chaplain at Unity of Bloomington (IN), she holds a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Unity Worldwide Ministries and is a Certified Grief Companion. For more than twenty years she’s supported students in the arts as a career advisor. Her practice is grounded in compassionate presence, deep listening, and lived experience with grief, healing, and spiritual transformation.
