I'm a university professor, a school psychologist, and a former elementary school teacher. I completed my spiritual direction training and certification through Meadville Lombard Theological School. I'm also a facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal, a certified Appreciative Inquiry facilitator, and a trained mindfulness teacher. I currently serve as core faculty for two year-long leadership institutes that integrate contemplative practices, communal and self-reflection, and strengths-based approaches.

I view spiritual direction as collaborate relationship in which I provide accompaniment for a directee’s individual and unique spiritual journey. Our work together will focus on discerning your gifts and calling, and deepening your relationship with the God (or the sacred, the universe, or whatever name they use). As a spiritual director, I aim to engage in deep, compassionate listening, thoughtful mirroring and reflection, and gentle questioning and inquiry. During our sessions, we might read poetry, write in a journal, or hold space for silent contemplation. Together we’ll create a time and space that is set apart for reflection, renewal, and care of the soul.
