Rediscover the Spiritual Exercises through the wider lens of our continually evolving universe and our participation in God’s desire and designs for our world.

Since the sixteenth century, The Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola have invited Christians to a lived experience of divine union with God, through closer relationship with Jesus. The fruitfulness of the Ignatian retreat is integration; a way of living daily in the awareness of God’s longing and love for us and for the whole of creation, and our response in faithfulness to the sacredness within and all around us.

In the five centuries since Saint Ignatius’ own spiritual insights, society has advanced in the areas of science and technology. We can now see through a much different lens into the vastness of the earth and space and into the lives of peoples and far off places in an instant.

This webinar will introduce The Spiritual Exercises for our time and include the inspirations and insights of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and other contemporary voices who have engaged us in the deeper mystery of God’s presence and purpose… in our very souls and in the soul of the universe.

Presenters: Michelle Gorman, RSM, and, Colleen Gregg, MA.
