Toward Spiritual, Communal and Holistic Transformation with Rev. Aizaiah G. Yong

Date: September 24, 2025

Time: 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm PDT

Event Categories: , ,

What can community based paradigms and cultural wisdom teach us about transforming trauma? Join us to learn from the latest research on how narrative and spirituality is vital to post-traumatic growth. This transformative session invites spiritual directors to reconsider the sacred work of tending to trauma holistically and through culturally informed approaches in solidarity with BIPOC communities. This workshop offers a dynamic blend of contemplative, intercultural, and interreligious paradigms to trauma transformation, moving beyond individualistic approaches to foster communities of healing and post-traumatic growth. There will be ample time for plenary, practice, and dialogue.
