Profile: After several years of working and sharing all sorts of life’s journeys with others, Robin decided to get her certificate in Spiritual Direction. What a great decision and wonderful teachers. Over the last 20 years, she has spent memorable moments with youth and young adults through Catholic and non denominational Christian ministries. The last 12 years she has spent in her medical career as an Assistive Technology Professional with people who have disabilities. Learning and connecting with various groups of people has allowed her to grow and learn in her faith and spirituality. Opening up herself even more to the Spirit, seeing and feeling it's presence in what we sometimes see as "both positive and negative". Robin felt Spirit calling her to walk with others through Direction. Her hope is by holding a trusting space for others and aid in shining love and light on what can be noticed. Robin's educational background consists of a BA in Psychology. Professionally in Graphic Art. Teams Course facilitator for adults and youth at Mt.Saint Francis, Indiana. Youth and Young Adult Ministry Director for the Catholic Archdiocese of Ky and Indiana. A RESNA certified ATP with Rehab Medical Equipment. People have always felt a sense of speaking with her in all sorts of situations. She has yet to meet a stranger. After a person experiences challenges in their childhood as well as people with disease and disabilities, you are open to see so much more possibilities for love and compassion for others. These experiences have allowed her to take feelings and emotions in a negative way and receive them as a pathway to express empathy and sympathy for others through the Divine. “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” ― Rumi Robin has always had a passion for ART. To her, ART is similar to Spiritual Direction. It's twists and turns of sizes, shapes, colors and perspectives allow us to see the beauty and mystery in the human experience. We all have a need for peace in our lives as we journey through this physical time and space. By tapping into our inner peace and calm, everyday, we have an invitation to share our light with the light in others. Robin looks forward to meeting with you.
