Profile: I long to meet with you, sit you down in a comfy chair in a place of beauty, and pour you a cup of tea – we are together, but Spirit is here too – the great comforter is holding us in this sacred space. As a Spiritual Director, my role is to assist you in paying attention to the invitation of God’s Spirit that is already present within you and to offer support and prayer so that you are able to hear and feel in a very embodied way from the Divine, and respond to God’s leading. I am a Graduate of the Global Benedictine Spiritual Direction Program. I am a textbook Enneagram 9, Social subtype. As my enneagram number would indicate, I love quiet, calm, and places of peace, and yet I love to be amongst gatherings of beauty and creativity. Hobbies I love are acro, yoga, live music and festivals. I am a student of Hindustani Classical music in the Nirguni Bhajan tradition along with bhajans from the Yeshu Bhaktas of India. I have spent the past 11 years living in Asia with my husband, and our two beautiful kids. We moved to India and Thailand to be amongst the communities we love; spiritual seekers, rainbow family, the wanderers and, the heart sore – those who would never fit or feel comfortable in religious institutions. Currently, I work in Spiritual and Pastoral Care in Aged Care facilities alongside those at end of life and the care workers who support them. I have a particular passion for traveling with those deconstructing their faith from evangelicalism and fundamentalism and helping them walk out into the Freedom and spaciousness of Christ. I believe in a boundless Jesus. A Jesus who welcomes our questions, our vulnerability and loves us right where we are. God meets us in the valleys just as much as the mountain tops. I welcome all people to direction with a soul friend, regardless of background, sexuality, gender, belief or lack thereof. I am a 500hr RYT Trauma informed Yoga teacher and truly believe that God meets us not just through the mind but through our bodies and breath and emotions. I love using movement and embodiment as a way to help people move through areas of their life in which they have felts stuck. I am fully affirming of the LGBTQIA+ community. You are welcome here, fully loved. I long to provide a safe space in which you feel confident to bring your whole self before God and to listen to the quiet whispers and leadings of Spirit.
