Profile: I welcome the opportunity to travel with you as you are finding your way deeper into the presence of the Holy One. Important aspects of my own journey include: long-term 12 step recovery programs; LGBTQIA+; healing from fundamentalism; hidden disabilities & chronic illness; grief; and rejoicing in God’s grace! My background: Raised in Brooklyn, NY I have been in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1977. I have lived across class and racial lines, and was a successful fundraiser for twenty years before ordination - including twelve years at UC Berkeley supporting the Division of Equity & Inclusion. An alumna of both Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CAS 2017) and Virginia Theological Seminary (MTS 1977), I also served as a volunteer chaplain at Sojourn Chaplaincy at the San Francisco General Hospital and was in full time parish ministry until health challenges made that impossible. I am a member of Spiritual Directors International, and adhere to their ethical guidelines. I am serving as an Assisting Priest at All Souls Episcopal Parish, Berkeley CA, and am a member of the Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross (a vowed sisterhood focused on intercessory prayer and social justice).
