Profile: I was introduced to spiritual direction by Dr. Larry Crabb. In 2013, I completed his spiritual direction training through New Way Ministries. It was then that I discovered this incredible art of helping people experience God in their everyday lives. Since 2015, I've been working under a non-profit called Grace Discipleship. Its mission is to provide discipleship and spiritual direction for individuals, young couples and ministry leaders. In July 2021, I completed another certificate of spiritual direction thru the Phoenix Center for Spiritual Direction with Teresa Blythe. Both experiences built on my MDIV degree and 12 years of prior experience as a youth/family pastor (2001-2013). Some of my passions in this spiritual formation space are: meditating on the Scriptures, leading small groups, centering prayer, union with Christ theology and helping others experience Christ in everyday life. I love listening to the Spirit of God as I listen to the person across from me. You can find out more about my story at www.gracegreensboro.org/the-story.
