Profile: Are you in need of spiritual healing? Have you been closed off by other religious or spiritual leaders? Are you someone who wants to talk about religion or spirituality but doesn’t want a priest, minister, or pastor judging you? Are you wanting to explore the depths of your spirituality in a safe, affirming space? ****** For the past three years, I have been a trained spiritual companion. I have helped many explore their unique religious or spiritual paths. I am not here to judge you. I am only here to listen. In our monthly, 50 minute sessions, we listen for and respond to the psychospiritual movements taking place during our sessions.****** About Me: I grew up in Indiana and graduated from Indiana University in the early 2010s. For four years, I lived in West Lafayette before I moved to San Francisco. There, I fulfilled a life-long dream of mine which was to be a member of a religious community. I was a brother in the Society of Saint Francis, an Episcopal religious community of men who live together and take vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. As a brother, I finished my spiritual direction training program at the Mercy Center in Burlingame, California. In June 2021, I left the Franciscan friars and moved back to Indiana. Today, in addition to my spiritual companionship work, I enjoy taking my dog Lawrence out for walks. I also enjoy spending time with my beautiful girlfriend, Katy.
