Profile: Throughout my life as a lover of God, I have learned just how precious our spiritual journey is. Although I worked for a church for most of my life, I must say, the many years of intense prayer, life’s trials, spiritual reading, education in church world as well as Spiritual Direction has taken me to an appreciation for the Mystical path of understanding God; WE ARE ONE. One with God, one with each other; no one excluded, non-denominational, interreligious. My spiritual journey started very young. I spent my early years as an Anglican. In my teens I was introduced to the Catholic faith. I started working for the church, first as a Music Minister and then as an Ecclesial Minister. (Music Ministry 42 years, Youth Ministry 25 years, then Adult Ministry; giving retreats as the Outreach Coordinator and doing Social Justice work) I studied Scripture with Dr. Murray Watson (Scripture Scholar) for a few years to better understand the Old Testament. My 41 years of experience in the church work has given me a keen understanding of the complex feelings and emotions my directees have around faith. Organized religion can be beautiful, confusing and hurtful for some. As a young mom I experienced personal tragedy that resulted in deferred trauma. Only those who have experienced life changing grief can understand the necessity for the Spirit’s presence in the healing processes. With therapy, private and shared prayer and community, my healing was miraculous to say the least! I am ever grateful for what I’ve learned and how it has transformed my life. My prayer practice is extremely important to me. I carve out time daily and throughout the day to pray and meditate. I am the founder of ‘All Creation, Mission of Love, Mystical Community and Outreach.’ This is a prayer community with outreach to the marginalized needy. The group is interdenominational, interreligious and inclusive. We have in person as well as online prayer meetings and incorporate praise and worship with teaching, contemplative meditation and small group discussion. Spiritual Direction/Companionship is a beautiful relationship, one that is life giving and fosters trust and deep connection while exploring the movement of God in our lives..
