DESCRIPTION:Compassionately Queer; Queerly Compassionate \n\n\n\nThe world is on the wobble and as queer spiritual companions\, we each bear witness to\, and just feel\, all the things\, hey? Join us for a little “Holy Boop” and a right-now check in (How are you doing…really?). Together we can compassionately turn inward to help find our silly-serious way in a wobbling world.  \n\n\n\nThis will be a carefully facilitated time of inward softening\, allowing us to spiritually connect as a beautiful\, diverse\, queer community. Together\, let’s create a nurturing circle where we can notice and name what feels alive in each one gathered\, moving toward our individual inner landscapes with tenderness and compassion. \n\n\n\nAbout Michelle and Sandra: \n\n\n\nMichelle and Sandra are queer\, spiritual directors with Still Lake Listening. They practice in person\, and virtually\, from Alberta\, Canada. Partners in life and in offering spiritual care\, their shared love is facilitating contemplative\, compassionate listening spaces where you can slow down and give voice to what feels tender\, tangled\, or unfinished; where Courage\, Nurture\, and Holy Mischief can emerge and thrive.  \n\n\n\n(Please note this meeting is intended for those who identify as LGBTQIA+) \n\n\n\nHow to Register / Instructions:\n\n\n\nPlease read through the instructions below before signing up. \n\n\n\n\nYou must be logged in to our website\, with a current SDI Membership\, to access the registration links. If you miss out this time around\, there will be more opportunities. \n\n\n\nWhat to Expect:\n\n\n\nEach session runs about 75 minutes.Each session will be hosted by one of the SDI Staff\, and an experienced facilitator from the SDI Community.Guidance from the facilitator will include brief teachings\, contemplative readings\, and space for meditation/silence.Each session will include Breakout Groups of 3-4 participants\, where each participant will have to opportunity to share and to hold space for one-another. \n\n\n\nWe will not record these sessions to preserve the confidentiality of all participants in the group spiritual companionship.
