DESCRIPTION:The transforming power of queer rituals \n\n\n\nWe are especially honored to welcome Rabbi Chaya Gusfield for this gathering. In our precious time together\, we will explore the role of rituals in the queer community– intentional practices of reclamation\, healing\, and joy designed to honor our milestones\, bodies\, and identities\, opening and closing rituals in our spiritual direction sessions. Also\, we will explore how rituals impact the spiritual lives of our directees. \n\n\n\nBring yourself\, a journal\, and an open mind/heart. \n\n\n\nThis one hour session is for those that identify as LGBTQIA+\, including nonbinary\, gender fluid\, genderqueer\, bi-gender\, and agender spiritual directors and spiritual companions who would like to connect with other LGBTQIA+ spiritual directors and spiritual companions. \n\n\n\nAbout Rabbi Chaya Gusfield: \n\n\n\nRabbi Chaya Gusfield is a spiritual director serving individuals\, groups\, and rabbinical students. She is also a Retired Board-Certified Chaplain\, mom\, writer\, and artist. She is passionate about creative expression as a path to deepen spirituality and cope with grief and illness. She has been on an active spiritual leadership path for more than 20 years and continues to learn more every day.
