I have been a spiritual director or companion for the last 25 years. I have an eclectic spiritual background. I use to be a Sister in the Catholic Church for about 20 years. I am most familiar with Ignatian, Franciscan, Salesian and Carmelite spiritualities. It is an honor for me to walk with people on this level of faith and be able to share in their journey. I am available to talk on the phone, in person or zoom. I like to have a phone conversation first to settle any questions about spiritual direction, how to proceed and payment possibilities.

About Spiritual Direction: Often times the word, "Spiritual" or "Spirituality" is met with confusion and anxiety. In all things, the Holy Spirit is the true Spiritual Director. What I do is help others to see and hear the Spirit so they may receive, reflect and respond to the Divine Mystery in their own lives. About me: I was raised Catholic and became Lutheran (ELCA) as a young adult, eventually becoming an ordained Pastor in that faith tradition in 2011. Like all of us, I've experienced trauma. Some of the trauma in my life revolved around loved ones struggling with addiction and abuse, my own divorce and the death of a child. I've also experienced redemption: a life-walk filled with faith, the opportunity to raise my granddaughter, and the love and companionship of a supportive husband. About Life: We will always have challenges and joys in our life journey, but One who is much greater than ourselves is constantly with us. Sometimes we need a little help, someone to walk along with us as we enter into the Presence, develop the Relationship and understand the Guidance that is with us. About you: In all things, the Holy Spirit is the true Spiritual Director. What I do is help you to see and hear the Spirit so you may discover the Divine Mystery in your own life. I help create and hold hospitable space where you can discern what God is doing within and around you. Whether you are curious about Spiritual Direction, you have specific goals in mind for growing your relationship with the Lover of our souls, or you are anywhere in between, I invite you to contact me for a complimentary time together where we can explore and discern if the Spirit is calling us to work together. In all things, shalom, dear sisters and brothers. Katherine

Hi, I'm Chris Roberts. I began exploring contemplative spirituality during a challenging season facing infertility and the death of my father-in-law. Since then I have been on a slow journey discovering spirituality outside the walls of church (which is no small task for a pastor). This journey led me to pursue spiritual direction certification at the Franciscan Spirituality Center. I am particularly drawn to apophatic prayer models & the importance of music/art/nature to engage with God. In addition to co-hosting a podcast, The Contemplative Life, I meet both virtually and in person for 1-on-1 spiritual direction/companionship. I also facilitate contemplative retreats. I look forward to connecting with you on your spiritual journey.

Hi ! I was blessed to travel a 3 year journey with the WELLSTREAMS program through the Spirituality Network in Columbus, Ohio. On that journey, I explored my own spirituality, while finding my balance, and grateful for living in the present moment. Most of my career life was serving adults with developmental disabilities. Those amazing individuals helped shape my compassionate heart and gift of prayerful listening. These gifts are carried with me, as your spiritual companion, as I sit with you, while the spirit guides us. My spiritual companionship is offered in person ,(locally) and by phone or zoom. I look forward to receiving your call! Blessings and peace to you until then !

I have been spiritual director for about two decades. My spiritual direction formation took place at Our Lady of Peace Spiritual Life Center in Narragansett, RI, and included a three year "Spirituality in Christian Living" program, which included the 30 day Ignatian exercises. Following that I completed the two year formation program in Spiritual Direction. My area of focus is Ignatian spirituality, and my desire is to help others meet God where they are, and as they are.

We can have a tendency, often subconsciously, to want to present ourselves to God as we think God wants to see us. An important part of the spiritual journey is opening ourselves to God''s presence, and meeting God as we really are, not who we think God is expecting us to be.

My approach to direction is that of exploring where God is active in our lives, and paying attention to who and what God is calling us to be. Typically that involves meeting monthly to explore and relish God's movement in our lives, and to discern how we wish to respond to that movement. Spiritual Direction gives us space to slow down and do just that…..

provide Spiritual Direction both in person and through Zoom. Feel free to email or call should you have an interest in exploring further.

Located generously across Christian spiritual traditions, while engaging with diverse spiritual exercises anchoring practice in one’s body, place, and time Dwight seeks to discover a way of harmony within the relational ecosystem of life. Raised within an Anabaptist, evangelical mid-western Canadian context Dwight’s journey has been toward freedom and love. His quest to welcome all of himself. Part of his quest is to free himself from the vision of the Divine that was handed to him, while opening up to the God who is. . . . Attending to his story(ies), embracing his fear(s), to listening to his trauma, all the while opening to what is real invites him to study with wise guides able to hold complexity and paradox. Jesus Christ once summed up his telos of life in saying, “Love God and love your neighbor as you love yourself,” and this resonates with Dwight. If any of this resonates with you in your journey, connect with Dwight for a free initial conversation to begin discerning joining toward for this important season of your life. . . . May you be happy, may you know peace, may you find rest.

Lily Oster (she/her) offers spiritual direction grounded in connection to nature, contemplative practice, imagination and creativity, and the spirituality of healing and mind-body wellness. She is an ordained interfaith minister with an MDiv from Harvard Divinity School and a PhD in Religious Studies from Emory University. Lily loves connecting with people on all kinds of spiritual journeys; she has deep experience with Buddhist, Jewish, and Christian life, with mystical and contemplative traditions, and with hybrid, non-traditional, nature-based, arts-based, and secular spiritual identities. * Lily has particular training in supporting those debilitated by chronic physical and mental suffering. Her own experience recovering from decades of chronic pain and illness has led her to study the science of nervous system resilience, guided imagery and visualization, and practices that support healing from trauma and chronic stress. Lily's spiritual companionship is also informed by the Jewish and Christian traditions of her mother's family, the self-acceptance / responsibility-taking / collective care commitments of her father's recovery community, the Buddhist teachings that have reshaped her consciousness toward non-harm, and the practices of earth relationship that have become the center of her religious life. * Lily brings to spiritual direction a fascination with the varieties of human seeking, a reverence for the mystery and beauty of life, a belief in the importance of ritual and sacred story, and a sense of humor and play. She has been a companion to teens and adults who grieve or approach death, who feel spiritually or religiously lost, who endure sickness or pain, who are experiencing life upheavals, or who simply seek a more meaningful relationship to life, nature, spirit, or the sacred. Lily is committed to ongoing learning and growth in anti-racist, decolonial, and anti-oppressive ways of being, thinking, feeling, and acting. She currently works as a teacher, spiritual director, and chronic pain and illness coach in Asheville, NC / on Cherokee land.

My hands are always messy, the music is on, so come on in and we'll have tea and time. I'm an artist, writer, foodie, love maverick and Rev. Dr. (interfaith) spiritual director/counselor, grief specialist and mystic. I am passionate about wholeness, encouraging union, and honoring rites of passage in ways that feel in right relationship with our individual selves and moments of life, any and all of them, privately or witnessed. I seek to meet and companion where you are at and kindly guide as we go through and on. I have decades of trainings in theologies, creative and therapeutic arts, spiritual care, counseling, coaching, former hospice nursing, and other modalities. My experience is within many aspects of death, loss, grief, discovery, life, cycles, change, and joy, and the many ways to walk a while with you, in a relevant language, blending compassion and curiosity that honors your selfhood’s path at this time. Whatever brought you to find me, brought us together, I am here for you with all the experience, skills, and care that I have to add in our time together. This creates a very individualized experience for you, as an individual, a couple, or a group. In this way of showing up together, it is a reminder that we are never as alone or off track as we may feel, and that we are home within our own selves, able to source what we need, even if both of these things are difficult to remember or notice sometimes.. This is my hope for part of what we share and we build more together. Nice to meet you. All are welcome. I have a special understanding for LGBTQA+, and men's and women's issues, couples, health, end of life, life challenges and defining deep changes, social reform and activist care.

At some point in life we feel a nudge. Our heart feels the tug to walk in the world in our full "wholeness", engaged with what brings us most joy. We realize we want to create, transform or expand aspects of ourselves in order to live a more intentional, "soul-directed" life. Our path through life takes many twists and turns. Like Nature, we participate in a cyclical journey through many seasons. Our unique story of growth and transformation is reaffirmed by and reflected in the great wheel of Creation. When we fully and mindfully enter into this path, we discover the answers to our deepest questions. Nature Connected Life Coaching (or guiding) is a pathway for personal, spiritual, and/or professional growth and transformation that collaborates with this wheel of Nature, both the wilderness found outdoors, as well as wilderness found within ourselves. We are innately wired for deep connection with Creation and look to Nature's metaphors and symbols to guide our own inner knowing, wisdom, and intuition. Our brains re-wire, creating new pathways for transformation as we heal and gain clarity, allowing us to become our best selves. We re-wire our own story to become our new "mythic" image. While most Nature Connected Life Coaching sessions take place outdoors and incorporate an experience that engages with the Land, successful guiding can also happen indoors. Through ceremony, joyful collaboration, skillful observation, listening, and powerful questions, I offer a supportive presence as you listen deeply to Nature (within and without) and discover the answers that already lie in you. As a a certified Nature Connected Coach and Transformational Wilderness Guide, certified through Earth-Based Institute, approved by the International Coaching Federation, as well as a Spiritual Director certified through the Benedictine Spiritual Formation Program, I guide you to look to Creation for the answer to what's next. With Creation and Creator as our co-guide, you tap into your unique wild wisdom to discern your next steps forward. As your coach, or guide, I help you see with new eyes your sacred spirit-bond with all beings in Creation and guide you into understanding the signs and symbols Creation offers as you discern your path forward. Like a midwife supporting the emergence of new birth, I help you incorporate this wisdom into your new life story. Together, we co-create a personalized coaching plan to support your goals and intentions. Together, we look to Nature to support you while your Soul guides you to: make life changes navigate personal or professional transitions improve health-- both mental and physical deepen your Soul connection I am trained in: International Coaching Federation Coaching Competencies and Best Practices Spiritual Direction Best Practices Nature-Connecting Practices Nature-based and research-based stages of change and personal transformation models Enneagram 4 Shields Model Wild Mind Brain and change Gestalt Partswork Guiding through Grief and Loss Long-term coaching for sustainable change Contact me for more information or to schedule a session with me!

I see my life as a journey toward wholeness and union with God and all humankind. Experience with many cultures and faith traditions over the years has led me to believe that Christ’s presence may be found anywhere. My training as a Spiritual Director began eleven years ago after the death of my husband of 44 years. Since then I have had the privilege of coming alongside several fellow travellers. I am available in person or through Zoom, FaceTime or Messenger. As a spiritual companion, I offer a listening heart - listening to both you and the Holy Spirit.
