Profile: Angela currently serves as lead pastor of Bethesda on the Bay Lutheran Church in Bay Village, Ohio. She completed her formal training in Missional Spiritual Formation n 2020. Previously, she served as intentional interim pastor at guiding congregations and leaders through times of transition and change. From 2012-2015, she was co-pastor at the Lutheran Church of Honolulu. Before moving to Hawaii, she served seven years as pastor of First Lutheran Church in Malden, Massachusetts. She has a passion for formation of individuals and communities as well as a focus on cross cultural and intergenerational ministry. Pastor Angela received her master of divinity degree in parish ministry at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkley, CA.. She studied theology and German language at the University of Leipzig in Germany. She received bachelor of arts degrees in theology and German from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has expertise accompanying those who are in worship leadership roles, youth and family ministry, and those focused on evangelism, mission, multicultural ministry. It is her passion to accompany those who are spiritually hungry and seek companionship in their personal formation. She is available for one on one spiritual direction, small group formation, retreat leadership, and other ventures.
